What is the easiest way to get Turkish text read aloud?
Paste your Turkish text into the tool at the top of this page and press generate. The voice list opens on Turkish voices, so you only have to pick one, listen, and download. A 150-word script is ready in seconds.
Turkish content has a wide audience. There are Turkish communities in Germany, the Netherlands, the UK and the United States, and Turkish TV series have fans worldwide who start learning the language because of them. A food blogger in New Jersey can add a Turkish voiceover to a baklava recipe video. A travel agency in London can make a short Istanbul promo for Turkish-speaking customers. A student watching Turkish dramas can paste a line of dialogue and replay it as many times as needed.

Why do the Turkish letters matter so much?
Turkish has a dotted i and a dotless ı, and they are different sounds. Kız means girl, while kiz is not a word. The same goes for ş, ç, ğ, ö and ü. If you type on a US keyboard and skip them, the voice will read what you typed, not what you meant. Switch to a Turkish keyboard layout or copy the text from a source that already has the right characters.
Try this line to hear it for yourself:
“Merhaba! Bugün İstanbul’un en güzel kahvaltı yerlerini geziyoruz.”
English: “Hello! Today we are visiting the best breakfast places in Istanbul.”
Also write numbers and dates in words when timing matters (on beş Ağustos instead of 15.08), and break very long sentences with commas so the voice has room to breathe.
One more trick for social videos: write the hook as a short sentence of its own. “Bunu bilmiyordunuz!” (“You didn’t know this!”) with an exclamation mark gives a slightly longer pause after it, which makes the next line land better. If you post the same video in English and Turkish, generate the English version with Andrew or Ava and the Turkish one with Andrew Turkish or Ava Turkish so the narrator feels consistent across both channels.
Developers building Turkish features into an app or a customer support line can use the Speechma API, with plans from $9 per month.
