Our approach: collect less, protect more
Many online services ask you to create an account, then store your files, history and personal details on their servers. Every one of those records is something that has to be protected forever. Speechma takes a different path: we design our tools so we simply do not need most of that information in the first place.
You do not give us a name, email address, password or payment card to use the free tools. The text you type and the files you upload are used to create your result, and that is it. This page explains the main safeguards in plain language. For full details on what data is processed, read our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
How we protect you
HTTPS everywhere
All connections to Speechma use HTTPS, so the text, recordings and videos you send travel over an encrypted connection between your browser and our service.
No account data needed
There are no Speechma user accounts for the free tools, which means no stored passwords or profiles that could be leaked.
Uploads are not stored
Voice samples, recordings, videos and songs you upload are processed to create your result and are not stored on Speechma servers.
Results stay in your browser
Generated audio, video and your history are kept locally in your browser, even after a refresh, until you delete them. You stay in control of your files.
Protection against abuse
Automated abuse checks stop any single bot or script from overloading the service.
Security code on every generation
The 5-digit security code blocks automated scripts and spam, keeping the free tools fast and available for real people.
Your files and results
When you use a tool such as voice cloning, AI dubbing or speech to text, your file is sent securely for processing. Once your result is ready, it is delivered back to your browser. Speechma does not keep a copy of your upload on its servers.
Your history of generations lives in your browser’s local storage on your own device. That has two practical consequences:
- Only you can see it. It is not linked to an online account and other people cannot browse it.
- You are in charge of keeping it. Clearing your browser data, using a private window or switching devices removes it. Download anything you want to keep.
If you use a shared or public computer, such as a library or school lab, clear your browser data when you finish so the next person cannot play your recent results.
Simple steps to stay safe
Security is a shared effort. A few habits go a long way:
- Check the address bar. Make sure you are on speechma.com (or speechmapro.com for SpeechmaPRO.com) and that the connection shows as secure.
- We never ask for passwords. Speechma’s free tools do not need a password, and we will never email you asking for one or for card details.
- Do not paste secrets. Avoid putting passwords, account numbers or other highly sensitive information into any online tool, including ours.
- Download only from the site. Get the Android app from Google Play by searching “Speechma”, not from unknown download sites.
- Protect voices. Only clone your own voice or one you have permission to use, and be cautious about sharing clear recordings of your voice publicly.
- Keep your browser updated. Modern browsers include important security fixes.
Preventing misuse of AI voices
Voice technology can be misused for impersonation and scams, such as fake phone calls pretending to be a family member or a boss. Our AI Voice & Cloning Policy and Acceptable Use Policy forbid impersonation, fraud and deceptive content. Security codes and abuse protections make large-scale automated abuse harder.
If you believe Speechma has been used to imitate your voice without consent, or you have found harmful content made with our tools, email contact@speechma.com with the subject “Abuse Report” and include links and details.
Responsible disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability in Speechma, please tell us privately so we can fix it before it can harm anyone. Email contact@speechma.com with the subject “Security Report” and include:
- a description of the issue and where it occurs (URL or feature);
- steps to reproduce it, and any proof-of-concept details;
- the potential impact as you understand it.
Please act in good faith: do not access, change or delete other people’s data, do not degrade the service (for example with denial-of-service testing or automated flooding), and give us reasonable time to respond before sharing details publicly. We appreciate researchers who help keep Speechma safe and aim to reply within a few business days.
A note on certifications
Speechma does not currently claim formal security certifications or third-party attestations. Instead, we focus on a design that minimizes the data we handle: no accounts for free use, uploads not stored, and results kept on your device. As Speechma grows, we will keep improving our safeguards and update this page.
