Both are free. The difference is what you do next.
Vocalremover.org does one job very well: you pick a song and get a karaoke version without vocals and an acapella version with just the voice. Its site says it is “absolutely free”, and it offers handy extras such as a Splitter (vocals, bass, drums and other parts), a Pitcher, a Key and BPM finder, a Cutter, a Joiner, a Recorder and a Karaoke tool.
Speechma’s vocal remover does the core split, vocals plus music-only, and then connects it to a full set of free creative tools. Remove the vocals, then have the song re-sung in a new voice style with AI voice cover, write new lyrics with the lyrics generator, or make a brand-new song in 50 languages. It is the same site for the whole idea, from karaoke night to a finished remix.

Honest notes on quality and when to use vocalremover.org
No vocal remover is perfect. On dense mixes, with heavy reverb, stacked backing vocals or loud guitars, some music bleed can remain in Speechma’s vocal track. Songs with a clear lead vocal and simple arrangement give the cleanest results.
If you need separate drums, bass and other instruments, or you want to change the key or tempo, vocalremover.org’s Splitter and Pitcher tools cover that and Speechma does not. Many musicians use both: split the stems there, and use Speechma for covers, new lyrics and original songs.
A note on rights: removing vocals does not change who owns a song. Karaoke at home and practice are one thing; publishing a remix or cover of a commercial song usually needs permission or a license.
