Is Speechma a real-time voice changer like Voicemod?
No, and it is better to say that up front. Speechma’s Voice Changer works on recordings. You upload a speech recording of up to 5 minutes plus a 5–30 second sample of the target voice, and Speechma re-speaks the same words in that voice. You get a file to download. It does not change your voice live in Discord, Fortnite or a Zoom call.
Voicemod is built for live use. Its homepage calls it a real-time AI voice changer and soundboard, lists 200+ voices, and names apps such as Discord, OBS, Steam, Valorant, Minecraft and Twitch. It is available on desktop and mobile. Its free version, per its own page, includes a rotation of voices, a clean mic effect and a soundboard.

What are the honest limits of Speechma here?
- No live mode. You cannot use it in voice chat, calls or a live stream.
- No soundboard. Speechma has a sound effects generator that makes 3–15 second effects from a text prompt, but no hotkey soundboard.
- A captcha per generation. The free site asks for a 5-digit code every time.
- No accounts or cloud history. Results stay in your browser, even after a refresh, until you delete them.
Results also depend on your input. A recording made in a quiet room, with one person speaking and no music, converts much more cleanly than a clip pulled from a noisy game session. If your source has background music, run it through the vocal remover first, then use the clean vocals in the Voice Changer. Keep the target sample clean too: 10–20 seconds of clear speech is usually enough.
