Refund and Cancellation Policy

The Short Version

No refunds on API subscriptions.

All API subscription payments are final and non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to stop future charges - your access continues until the end of the current paid period.

You are always in control.

Cancel your subscription any time from your dashboard. No need to email us. You keep full API access until your billing period ends, then no further charges.

No Refund Policy

Due to the nature of API services - where server resources, AI voice processing, and infrastructure costs are incurred immediately upon use - all payments for SPEECHMA API subscriptions are non-refundable, including:

This policy exists because API access is granted instantly and computing resources are consumed even before your first API call, the moment your subscription activates.

How Cancellation Works

You can cancel your subscription at any time with one click from your dashboard. Here is exactly what happens:

Example: If you are billed on the 1st of the month and you cancel on the 15th, you keep access until the end of that month. No charge on the 1st of the next month.

Exceptions - When We May Issue a Refund

We generally do not issue refunds, but we will review requests on a case-by-case basis in the following situations:

To request an exception, email contact@speechma.com within 7 days of the charge with your payment ID and reason. We will respond within 3 business days.

Plan Changes and Upgrades

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Razorpay. SPEECHMA never stores your card details. Subscriptions are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) at approximately current USD/INR exchange rates.

If a payment fails (for example due to an expired card), Razorpay will retry the charge. If the payment cannot be collected, your subscription will be halted and API access paused until payment is updated. You will receive an email notification.
