How does the funny voice generator work?
In the Voice Design panel above, write a short description of the character’s voice, then type what they should say. Generate it, listen, and download the audio. If the voice is not quite silly enough, push the description further (“extremely nasal,” “wildly overconfident”) and try again.
Because Voice Design makes a new voice from your words, you are not stuck with a fixed list of presets. A sleepy dragon, a snobby cat, a hype-man grandpa: if you can describe it, you can try it. The voices are original, so they do not copy any real person, which keeps your skits fun and fair.
10 funny voice descriptions you can copy
Paste a description into the voice box and pair it with the sample line, or write your own.
| Character | Voice description | Sample line |
|---|---|---|
| Grumpy wizard | Very old man, raspy and cranky, slow speech, sighs a lot, theatrical British accent | I did not spend four hundred years studying magic to fix your Wi-Fi. |
| Dramatic pirate | Loud middle-aged man, gravelly, over-the-top pirate swagger, rolling r’s, very excited | Arr! Who touched me snacks? Speak, or walk the plank! |
| Snobby cat | Posh young woman, slow and unimpressed, slightly bored, upper-class tone | You call this tuna? I have never been so insulted. |
| Hype-man grandpa | Elderly man with a high, energetic voice, fast speech, very enthusiastic | Let’s gooo! Grandpa just found the TV remote! |
| Nervous robot | Robotic, flat voice that sounds anxious and fast, slightly high pitch | Error. Error. I was not trained for small talk. |
| Overly calm narrator | Soft, deep male voice, extremely calm, slow, like a nature documentary | Here we see the teenager, emerging from his room for the first time in three days. |
| Tiny villain | Small, squeaky voice, very dramatic, evil laugh energy | Soon, the cookie jar shall be mine. All of it. |
| Valley girl alien | Young woman, bubbly California accent, upbeat, slightly spacey | Like, your planet is totally cute but where is the oat milk? |
| Sleepy dragon | Very deep, slow, yawning voice, warm and lazy | Five more minutes. Then I will guard the treasure. Maybe. |
| Sports announcer for chores | Excited male announcer, loud and fast, big stadium energy | And he folds the towel! Unbelievable form! The crowd goes wild! |
How do I make a funny voice in 5 steps?
- Open Voice DesignUse the panel at the top of this page.
- Describe the voiceInclude age, gender, tone, accent and mood. Two specific details beat ten vague ones.
- Write the lineShort and punchy works best. Exclamation marks add energy and longer pauses.
- Generate and listenEnter the 5-digit code and generate. If it is too normal, exaggerate the description.
- Download and use itSave the audio and drop it into CapCut, a meme video, a Discord soundboard or a slideshow.
What makes a funny voice actually funny?
Mismatch. A huge, serious voice saying something tiny and petty gets more laughs than a goofy voice saying something goofy. Try the calm documentary narrator describing your dog eating a sock, or a fearsome dragon asking for a nap.
Timing matters too. Put a period before the punchline so the voice pauses, and keep clips under ten seconds for social media. For more ready-made character styles, browse the cartoon voice generator, villain voices and old man voices. Regular text to speech voices can also get silly: raise pitch and speed for a chipmunk sound, or drop both for slow-motion drama.
