What to include in a support message
The more specific you are, the faster we can help. Please include:
- The reference code shown with any error message. It looks like
SM-XXXXXXXand lets us find exactly what went wrong. Copy it exactly as shown. - Which tool you were using, for example Text to Speech, Voice Cloning, AI Dubbing, Speech to Text or the Music Studio.
- What you expected and what happened, in a sentence or two.
- Your device and browser, such as “Windows 11, Chrome” or “iPhone, Safari”, or whether you used the Android app.
- Roughly when it happened, including your time zone.
- The voice and language you selected, if the problem is about audio quality or pronunciation.
- A short text sample that reproduces the issue (please do not send private or sensitive information).
Example of a helpful support email
Subject: Support – Voice Cloning error SM-XXXXXXX
Hi Speechma team, I tried Voice Cloning today around 3:15 PM Eastern on Chrome for Mac. I uploaded a 20-second MP3 of my own voice, chose English, and pressed Clone & Generate. I got an error with reference code SM-XXXXXXX. I tried again twice with the same result. Thanks!
That message tells us the tool, the time, the browser, the file and the reference code, which is everything we need to start looking.
Before you write: quick fixes
Many issues can be solved in a minute:
- Security code not accepted? Make sure you type all 5 digits exactly as shown. If it still fails, load a new code and try again.
- Script too long? Text to speech takes up to 2,000 characters per conversion, so split longer text into parts, or try SpeechmaPRO.com for 10,000 characters per conversion, no captcha, no ads and no waiting.
- Text too long? Text to speech accepts up to 2,000 characters per conversion; split longer scripts.
- Upload rejected? Check the file requirements: MP4, MOV or WEBM videos up to 60 MB for AI dubbing, voice samples of 5–30 seconds for cloning.
- History disappeared? Your history is stored in your browser, so clearing site data or using a private window removes it. Download files you want to keep.
- Something looks broken? Refresh the page, try another modern browser, or disable extensions that block scripts.
