Good to know before you build
- Voice IDs are listed by the
/api/v1/voicesendpoint and match the voices on speechma.com. - Long texts: split by sentence and join the MP3s, or use Pro for up to 10,000 characters per request.
- Cache audio you play often (menus, greetings). Same text, same voice gives the same result, so you only pay once.
- Your key is secret: call the API from your server, not from browser code that visitors can read.
