Music Studio Explained: 6 AI Audio Tools in One Place
Music Studio bundles six distinct AI audio tools under one tab. Each solves a different problem, and it's easy to reach for the wrong one if you haven't seen them laid out together. Here's what each one actually does.
1. Music Generator
Describe a mood, genre, and instrumentation, and get back an instrumental track. Useful for video background music, game soundtracks, or anywhere you need royalty-free instrumental audio without a music library subscription.
2. Sound Effects (SFX)
A one-off sound, a door creak, a whoosh transition, an impact hit, generated from a short text description. Faster than searching a stock SFX library when you need something very specific.
3. Song Generator
Generates a complete song, vocals and instrumental together. You can supply your own lyrics or let the tool auto-generate them from a topic you provide. This is the heaviest of the six tools and can take longer to process.
4. Lyrics Generator
A standalone text tool, give it a topic or theme, and it writes original song lyrics. Useful on its own, or as a first step before feeding the result into the Song Generator.
5. Vocal Isolator
Splits an existing track into two separate files: the vocal track and the instrumental. Useful for making karaoke versions, sampling, or studying a vocal performance in isolation.
6. Voice Cover
Takes an existing song, reads its lyrics, and re-sings them with a new AI voice in a similar musical style. It is a fresh AI performance of the song rather than an exact copy of the original melody and timing.
Which One Should You Start With?
If you need background audio for a video, start with Music or SFX. If you're building an original song, start with Lyrics, then move to Song. If you're working with an existing track, Vocal Isolator and Voice Cover are your tools. See the full guide for step-by-step instructions on each: Music Studio guide.
